Yianni brings America to South London

The Meat Wagon is a really exciting street food venture run by someone who has the right idea about the new direction of mobile eating in Britain.

Yianni goes on regular research trips (gotta love a research trip) to the States and returns to Peckham with great new recipes: chicken wings, sliders, proper french fries and the now famous Bobcat Burger.

Not so much a market trader as a true itinerant, Yianni and his Meat Wagon pop up in parking lots around and about. Add a bit of music and an interesting mix of people and all of a sudden there's an underground street food scene going on - great food unencumbered by the strong arm of the law.

The Meat Wagon represents the best of what eat.st looks for: great food, served with imagination and offered up by people with personality and pioneering spirit.
