Paella theatricsEveryone loves a big old bubbling pan of paella. It is the ultimate theatrical street food and draws curious crowds wanting to soak up a bit of the Valenciana vibes.I first came across Jamon Jamon at Standon Calling in 2006. Since then there have been many events that we've both been at and the paella that Nick and his team serve is always redolent with great juicy mussels and prawns. I love the abundance of their paella servings but so too do I love the abundance of the Jamon Jamon team's fun and generosity. This lot are a fine example of positivity and pulling together. Of course the food they serve is worthy of praise but I can't talk about their paella without talking about them as well. Hailing from all over the world - with a heavy influence on South Africa - Nick and his crew make doing what we do a real pleasure. |
